INTRODUCTION

List of issues that this hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issues that are not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

You have a site default page whose column contains a keyword. You have a second page whose column contains the same keyword. When you search for that keyword, the site default page does not appear in the search results. However, the second page does appear in the search results. The site default page appears only as a site in the search results.

Note The site default page is also known as the site Welcome Page.
You have an English version of Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 installed together with a localized version of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. After you install some Windows SharePoint Services updates, you cannot run the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard.
After you run a crawl, numeric metadata values that have more than seven digits may not be indexed correctly. This behavior occurs because digits that occur after seven positions are not indexed correctly. For example, assume that the following values are stored in the document library:
- 200227049
- 200227050
- 200227051
After you run the crawl, the search results may show these values as 200227056, or the search results may show values that have some other incorrect number for the last two digits.
When you try to use the stsadm.exe –o export command to export content from a SharePoint site, you receive an error message that resembles following:
This constraint cannot be enabled as not all values have corresponding parent values.
When you try to use the stsadm.exe –o import command to import content to a SharePoint site, you receive an error message that resembles following:
FatalError: The element 'FieldTemplate' in namespace 'urn:deployment-manifest-schema' has invalid child element 'Field' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/'.

32-bit hotfix package

The global version of this hotfix package uses a Microsoft Windows Installer package to install the hotfix package. The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
