FIX: You receive an error message and the application fails when SAP Adapter 2.0 generates a proxy by using ECC 6.0 in BizTalk Server 2006

You use Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 together with Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite. When Microsoft SAP Adapter 2.0 generates a proxy by using ECC 6.0, the application fails. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following error message:

The problem may occur when a schema that has a DECIMAL element type is generated. However, the equivalent field in SAP has a QUAN data type. The issue does not occur when you make a call by using the CHAR element type.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 SP1 for mySAP Business Suite installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you have to restart the BizTalk Server services after you apply this hotfix.
