STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2. MORE INFORMATIONIn System Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1, you
can enable an option to override the text encoding for the subject lines of e-mail
notifications. This behavior was introduced because some messaging clients
cannot display Unicode characters correctly. When the encoding override option is
enabled, Operations Manager 2007 should
remove
any encoding marks from the subject lines. For more information about software update terminology, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 824684
