supports Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). On this device, you enable an A2DP
connection. When you use this device to play music in Windows Media Player, you notice that the sound does not come from the
paired Bluetooth enabled audio device as expected. Instead, the sound comes from the local audio of the Windows CE 5.0-based device.
CAUSEThis problem occurs because the DirectShow audio renderer
always plays on the
Windows CE-based device, which is the default device. This device has the ID 0. RESOLUTIONSoftware update informationA supported software update is now available from Microsoft as Windows CE 5.0 Platform Builder Monthly Update (September 2008). You can confirm this by scrolling to the "File information" section of this article. The package file name contains the product version, date, Knowledge Base article number, and processor type. The package file name format is:Product version-yymmdd-kbnnnnnn-processor type For example: Wincepb50-060503-kb917590-armv4i.msi is
