SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You install the Live Meeting Conference Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook on a computer on which Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 is installed. You schedule a Live Meeting session in Office 2003, and then you perform the following actions:
  • You add recipients.
  • You change the role of some recipients from Attendee to Presenter.
  • You change the conference type from Open Authenticated to Closed Authenticated.
  • You send the meeting request.
In this scenario, the recipients receive the request. However, the conference settings on the back-end computer that is running Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 are not changed from the default settings. For example, the attendee list is not modified, and other changes that you made are not reflected on the Communications Server 2007 computer.

This problem occurs when you are using Outlook 2003 in online mode or in caching mode.

Note This problem occurs in caching mode when the following registry key is set to 1:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options\Calendar DWORD: DisableCalendarCacheModeSave
