How to back up and restore the registry in Windows To enable this hotfix, follow these steps: - Exit Outlook 2007.
- Start Registry Editor:

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue. - In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
- Locate and then click to select the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\RSS - Right-click EnableSyncToSysCFLHierarchy, and then click Modify.
- Type 1 in the Value data box , and then click OK.
- On the File menu, click Exit to exit Registry Editor.
Note This hotfix package together with this registry change adds the following functionality:- When you add a feed to Outlook 2007 and the feed is added to the Common Feed List (CFL), the folder structure is retained.
- When you add a feed to the CFL and the feed is added to Outlook 2007, the folder structure is retained.
- When the feed is deleted from the CFL, the feed is deleted from Outlook 2007.
- When the feed is moved in the CFL, the feed delivery folder is moved in Outlook 2007.
- When the feed is renamed in the CFL, the feed delivery folder is renamed in Outlook 2007.
- When the folders are moved in the CFL, the RSS delivery folders are moved in Outlook 2007.
- When the folder is renamed in the CFL, the RSS delivery folder is renamed in Outlook 2007.
