Images cannot be pasted in an Exchange Server 2007 Outlook Web Access message body

In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, you cannot paste an image from the Windows clipboard into the message body of a Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access item. This problem occurs whether you try to use the Paste command on the shortcut menu that appears when you right-click or the CTRL+V keyboard shortcut.

This problem occurs even though you installed the S/MIME control. This problem occurs in Exchange Server 2007 and Windows Internet Explorer.

To resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 7 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1. To do this, you must use the CTRL+V shortcut. The Paste command on the shortcut menu will be unavailable.
