In Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, you can unexpectedly promote an appointment that has no specified subject even though the Subject attribute of the Appointment entity is set to Business Required. Therefore, after the appointment is tracked into Microsoft Dynamics CRM database, you cannot open a service calendar that contains the appointment. Instead, you receive the following error message:
Additionally, you receive this error message if you filter some appointments by week or by month, and the appointment meets the criterion of the filter.
An error has occurred.
