This article describes how to enable Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) messages to use INTERNALDATE as the delivery date of a message in Outlook 2007.
This issue is fixed in the Outlook 2007 hotfix package (Outlook.msp) that is dated October 28, 2008. Therefore, you should apply and install this hotfix package.

Enable the hotfix.
To have us enable the hotfix for you, go to the "Fix it for me" section. If you prefer to enable the hotfix yourself, go to the "Let me fix it myself" section.
To enable the hotfix automatically, click the
Fix it button or
link. Click
Run
in the
File Download
dialog box, and then follow the steps in the Fix it wizard.
Note this wizard may be in English only; however, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows.
Note If you are not on the computer that has the problem, you can save the automatic fix to a flash drive or to a CD, and then you can run it on the computer that has the problem.

Exit Outlook 2007
Start Registry Editor.
In Windows Vista: Click

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
In Windows XP: Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
