Additionally, you may receive an error message that
resembles the following
error message: MMC could not
create the snap-in. The snap-in might not have been installed
correctly. For example, you install a localized Windows XP SP3 for Portuguese-Brazilian version. Then, you may be unable to open the Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) MMC. Additionally, you may receive the following error message: MMC could not create the snap-in. The snap-in might not have been installed correctly. Name: Windows Server Update Services CLSID: FX: {8B6499ED-0241-E032-6508-DA4B1C879D7E} CAUSEThis problem occurs because the .dll files of the
MMC 3.0 resource are incorrect. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft.
