SYMPTOMS

When you change the codec selection policy for the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Audio Video Conferencing Server or for the Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 client through customization, renegotiation of codecs may not be successful in some conference scenarios. For example, when you try to change the codec after you resume a held conference call, you may be unable to change the codec. Conference calls are disconnected when there is a mismatch between expected codecs.
