This hotfix fixes the following issues that are not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
You have a site collections, and the time zone is not
Universal Time Coordinated (UTC). When you update the source Web page, the
publishing time on the target variation pages is set several hours back.
For example, if your time zone differs from UTC by two hours, the
target variation pages are set two hours back.
After you create a new variation of an existing site, the
content in the Default.aspx page is not populated to the target labels.
Therefore, the Default.aspx page is missing after the deployment.
The Advanced Search Web part does not use the default scope
that is configured for a display group when that display group is specified in the
Advanced Search Web part settings.
You define a new content source as Lotus Notes in Office
SharePoint Server 2007. If you use * as a value and perform full crawl,
the crawl fails.
IFilter for Word 2007 files and Excel 2007 files
(Offfiltx.dl) cannot extract words in the header or the footer.
When you crawl Lotus Notes database with security enabled,
the search results also show the denied notes ID.
When you search for more than 9 digits but less than 40 digits,
you may not receive the expected search results.
When you type FirstName_SecondName@domain.com in Outlook,
right-click it, and then click View My Site, you receive a "User Not Found"
error. This issue occurs because that the SMTP address contains an underscore
character (_).
After you install the updates that are described in Microsoft Knowledge Base articles 952294 and
946517, Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007 audience targeting stops
functioning for nested SharePoint groups for global navigation and for any
SharePoint group audience targeting for Web parts. The navigation links and Web
parts in these cases are not visible at all. Therefore, they are inaccessible
to the user targeted.
You configure two Internal URLs to publish the MySite
Public URL. The internal URLs have to use the same public URL. To be usable,
these two Internal URLs have to use the same Zone.
When you access to
your MySite by using the first Internal URL (the one configured when the MySite
Web application is created), everything works fine.
When you access to
the MySite by using the second Internal URL (the one configured when the MySite
extended Web application is created), a third Tab that is named "My Site"
unexpectedly appears in the TopNavBar of the MySite.
When a query is initiated from the Search.asmx SharePoint
2007 Web service, no results are returned when the site uses forms-based authentication (FBA).
