This article describes the Microsoft Office Input Method Editor (IME) 2007 issue that is fixed in the Input Method Editor (Japanese) 2007 hotfix package that is dated November 5, 2008.
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that is not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:When you are running IME (Japanese) 2007, you may notice the following behavior:
The conversion result is fragmented.
A word that a user registers is not converted.
When you input double-byte character set (DBCS) characters, IME (Japanese) 2007 may not automatically convert the characters.
