Network shares are deleted and created intermittently by the replication service on an Exchange SCC cluster when SCR is enabled on the Exchange serverArticle ID: 957834 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario:
When this issue occurs, the copy status of the storage groups switches between Healthy and Failed in the Exchange Management Console, and the network shares for the storage groups are deleted and created intermittently. Note You can trace the share creation or deletion by running Microsoft Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant (extra.exe) with the "NetShare" tag of the "Cluster.Replay" component. After you run the trace tool, the following items will be logged in the trace log: Share creation: 8066 Debug <Date, Time> <number> Cluster.Replay NetShare NetShareAdd success status: 0, paramNumber: 0 for serverName=, scopeName=, shareName=<GUID of storage group$>, sharePath=<path> Share deletion: 8053 Debug <Date, Time> <number> Cluster.Replay NetShare DeleteShareOnNetworkTransport( addr=<domain>, shareName=<GUID of storage group$> RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 7 for
