SYMPTOMS

When you run the Create Quick Campaign Wizard in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, and you create an e-mail activity that will be sent when the Create Quick Campaign Wizard finishes, the e-mail message is not sent when the Create Quick Campaign Wizard finishes.

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You run the Create Quick Campaign Wizard for some contacts or for some accounts that are not owned by the user who is logged on to the computer.
  • The owner of the quick campaign does not have the "Send E-mail as Another User" permission on one of the assigned roles.
This problem occurs even if you applied hotfix 954673.
