Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 processes a decimal value incorrectly when you run a workflow

Consider the following scenario:

• You are running a non-English language version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 on a Windows Server 2003-based computer.
• The Regional Option setting on the the computer is set to something other than an English-language option.
• You use a comma instead of a period as the decimal character.
• You run a workflow.

In this scenario, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 processes a decimal value incorrectly. For example, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 converts 4,67 to 467 when a workflow runs.
