SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, you cannot use some user queries that run against contacts, leads, or accounts. When you cannot use these user queries, an event that resembles the following is logged in the Crm40srvsetup.log file:

Note By default, the Crm40srvsetup.log file is located in the %appdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs directory on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server.

RESOLUTION
