Error message when you import an organization in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0: "The type or namespace name 'InvokeDotNetAssembly' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft.Crm.Workflow'"

SYMPTOMS

You have an organization that contains workflow rules in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. The workflow rules contain the following:

Steps that execute an assign action.
A step that performs an action in a CRM Workflow .NET assembly.

When you try to import the organization, you receive the following error message:

The type or namespace name 'InvokeDotNetAssembly' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft.Crm.Workflow'.
