SYMPTOMS

On a Windows Server 2008-based DNS server, you use DNS Manager to manage the reverse lookup zones. You create a delegation for a reverse lookup zone. When you press F5, or you right-click the zone and then click Refresh, the delegation that you created disappears from DNS Manager.

Note When this problem occurs, the delegation disappears only from the user interface. The delegation still exists in the DNS database.
