Article ID: 958563 - Last Review: January 20, 2012 - Revision: 2.2 The contents of the body of an e-mail message are not displayed when you view the properties for a step that refers to an e-mail message in a workflow in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0
SYMPTOMSWhen you try to view the properties for a "create e-mail entity" step or for a "send e-mail" step in a workflow designer in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, the contents of the body of the e-mail message are not displayed. This problem occurs if the first tab of the e-mail form is not the E-mail tab. Additionally, if you click Save, Save and Close, Save and New, or Send for a new e-mail activity in which the first tab is not the E-mail tab, you may receive an error message that asks you to send an error report to Microsoft. RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
