Description of the OneNote 2007 hotfix package (Onenote.msp): October 28, 2008

This hotfix fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

In a notebook, when you click a hyperlink to visit a page in a virtual section, OneNote tries to open the original section where the virtual section is created.

If the notebook that contains the original section is closed, you receive the following message when you click the hyperlink: If the notebook that contains the original section is open, OneNote opens the original section instead of the virtual section when you click the hyperlink.
