When you execute common searches in a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 site, you receive the following information in the search results summary:

To resolve this problem, apply hotfix 957693 to all the servers in the farm. Then, set the NewDefaultSummaries registry entry to enable the hotfix. To do this, follow these steps:

2. Set the NewDefaultSummaries registry entry on all the servers in the farm. To do this, follow these steps:
   1. Start Registry Editor.
      • In Windows Server 2008, click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
        
        If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
      • In Windows Server 2003, click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
   2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\12.0\Search\Global\
   3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
   4. Type NewDefaultSummaries, and then press ENTER.
   5. Right-click NewDefaultSummaries, and then click Modify.
   6. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK .
   7. Exit Registry Editor.
