Symptom

You have reviewed or addressed all of the issues in the Installation Issues dialog for Windows Small Business Server 2008. You have checked the task as complete, but the View Installation Issues task still appears in the Getting Started tasks. You no longer want View Installation Issues to be displayed in tasks list on the Console Home tab.

Resolution

To remove View Installation Issues task, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Run dialog box, type regedit, and then click OK.
3. In Registry Editor, locate and following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\Setup\DisplayIssues
4. Change the value to False.
5. Close the SBS 2008 Console and then open it again.
