SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0:

You import a custom report that contains a dataset.
The dataset contains an Integer or a GUID that is used for a parameter in the report.
You go offline on a computer that is running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM offline client.
You synchronize the report offline.
You try to run this report.

In this scenario, you receive the following error message even though you have the Dev Errors option enabled:

An error has occurred.

Additionally, the Application log contains the following warning message:
