FIX: You cannot find the SQL Server 2005 performance counters for the instance of Windows Internal Database

SYMPTOMS

After you install Windows Internal Database, you open the Performance snap-in. However, you cannot find the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 performance counters for the instance of Windows Internal Database.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3.
