FIX: A peer-to-peer transactional replication does not replicate rows if you rebuild the index for a published table at the same time as you insert data in the published table in SQL Server 2005 or in SQL Server 2008

Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or in Microsoft SQL Server 2008, you configure a peer-to-peer transactional replication on a database. You connect to the instance of SQL Server 2005 or to the instance of SQL Server 2008, and then you rebuild the index for the published table. At the same time, you insert some rows in the published table. In this scenario, you experience the following symptoms:

• You receive the following warning message when you run the rebuild index job:
  Replication is skipping schema version logging because the systranschemas table is not present in database '1'. This is an informational message only. No user action is required.
• The rows that you inserted in the table are not replicated to the subscriber. Additionally, the following error message is logged in the Distribution Agent log:
  The row was not found at the Subscriber when applying the replicated command.

For SQL Server 2008

The fix for this issue was first released in Cumulative Update 2. Important You must use this fix if you are running SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2.
