SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, you use the Schema Generation Wizard in the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite to generate a schema.
You specify a value for the type attribute, and this value starts with a number.

In this scenario, the newly generated schema cannot be loaded in the BizTalk Editor. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following:

Cannot load Schema.
Invalid "type" attribute. Value ‘<string>’ cannot be used as ‘type’ attribute.More information:

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of an error in the Sapidocschema.dll file.

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites

You must have BizTalk Server 2006 and the BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
