The Bluetooth stack may cause the system to crash when you search for nearby devices in Windows CE 5.0

In some scenarios, when you use a Windows CE 5.0-based device to search for nearby Bluetooth devices, the Bluetooth stack may crash. When this problem occurs, the Bluetooth stack may cause the system to restart unexpectedly. This problem may occur if a nearby Bluetooth device has a very long device name.

This problem occurs because of an insufficient size allocation for the Host Controller Interface (HCI).
