INTRODUCTION

This hotfix fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you use Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Active Directory Rights Management Services (ADRMS), you have to select a user in the Always use this account field in Outlook 2003. You have to do this every time that you send a Digital Rights Management (DRM) protected message on the federation side.
  • When you set the user locale to Chinese (Hong Kong S.A.R.), the date is displayed incorrectly in the calendar Month view of Outlook 2003. The day is followed by the month.
  • You save an e-mail message as an .msg file. If the e-mail message uses a custom form and has a digital signature, the digital signature is incorrect when you save the message.
  • When you use the
    delegatesentitemsstyle
registry value, and you specify options on a message, the message is not moved to the Sent Items folder of the shared mailbox.
  • When you try to close an appointment item, and a custom free/busy provider is used, Outlook 2003 crashes.
  • Every time that the OnRead event occurs for an encrypted message, three new temp files are created. Additionally, these temp files are never deleted.
  • In Outlook 2003, when you set the user locale to Chinese (Hong Kong S.A.R.), the "days of the week" display for Hong Kong is incorrect in the calendar view. The days of the week are all displayed with question marks instead of with the correct Chinese character.
  • When you move exceptions to a recurring meeting, the exceptions may be reported as deleted if you use the Outlook Object Model to access these exceptions.
This hotfix also fixes the following issues:
  • 959633 When you try to print multiple copies of an e-mail message in Outlook 2003, all the copies of the e-mail message are stapled together
  • 960250 When you try to print multiple copies of an e-mail message in Outlook 2003, all the copies of the e-mail message are stapled together
