Error "upgrade completed with errors" [SPManager]
[ERROR] [11/1/2008 11:15:48 AM]: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed
prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
You have a tree view that has too many nodes. When you try
to run a full content deployment or an incremental content deployment, you may
receive the following error message:

After you apply the August Cumulative Update (KB956057),
the Custom List Forms for editing do
not display correctly on lists that contain
multiple-selection fields.
You upgrade a Windows SharePoint Service (WSS) 2.0 site to
WSS 3.0. Then, you upgrade the site to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
After that, you cannot use the "Content and Structure" feature to move existing
items between different document libraries and folders.
You use the Approval workflow in a document library, and
you select SharePoint groups as approvers. Some of your domain trusts are
offline.
In this scenario, when the workflow is initiated, it fails, and you may receive
the following error message in the Unified
Logging Service (ULS)
log:
System.SystemException The trust relationship
between the primary domain and the trusted domain failed.
If you open a Web page that has a Discussion Board Web part
in SharePoint Designer 2007, and you save the Web page, the Discussion Board
Web part is
broken.
A site column is added by using a URL that has different uppercase or lowercase letters from the letters in the URL that was used to create the site. When this occurs, the Site Columns page is broken.
When you try to back up and restore the SharePoint
environment, folders
that
are pending approval may prevent Data Protection
Manager (DPM) from
restoring the files
and the folders.
Auditing policies for Document library cannot audit view
events for non-Office files.
The
Picture library sub-view selector for
Details,
Thumbnails, and
Filmstrip in
the All Pictures view is lost after you install
the WSS 3.0 Infrastructure Update, KB951695.
When you click the Local Office SharePoint Server sites
link in Content Sources, you may receive the following error message:
Unexpected Error has occurred
Search returns no
(zero)
results during an index merge process.
