SYMPTOMS

When you try to save a style sheet, a .css file, in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the IDE may shut down unexpectedly. Additionally, an event message that resembles the following is logged in the application event log:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Microsoft Visual Studio
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1000
Description: Faulting application devenv.exe, version 8.0.50727.762, stamp 45716759, faulting module vswebdesign.dll, version 8.0.50727.762, stamp 45716d5d, debug? 0, fault address 0x0016fd5b.

RESOLUTION
