Office Communicator 2005 crashes when you try to accept an inbound phone call

SYMPTOMS

When you try to accept an inbound phone call in Microsoft Office Communicator 2005, Office Communicator 2005 crashes.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if the caller has a display name that is longer than 23 characters.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the Communicator 2005 hotfix rollup package that is dated December 19, 2008.
