SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to use the PlayOnline Viewer for Final Fantasy XI, you experience one of the following issues:
  • The game fails to start and you receive the error message:
    This game cannot start. Please download the data.
  • After clicking the Play button on the top page of Final Fantasy XI, the following error is displayed:

THINGS TO TRY

  1. From the PlayOnline Viewer, please select and execute [Uninstall the software].
  2. When uninstallation is complete, please restart Final Fantasy XI.
