The Microsoft Forefront Server Security Management Console (FSSMC) Deployment Agent File Structure has changed

The Microsoft Forefront Server Security Management Console (FSSMC) Deployment Agent File Structure has changed.

The current location is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront Security\FSSMC DeploymentAgent- (Build Number)."

The location was unexpectedly changed from "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\FSSMC DeploymentAgent- (Build Number)" to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront Security\FSSMC DeploymentAgent- (Build Number)."

When Hotfix Rollup 2 for FSSMC is installed, the location changes back to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront Security\FSSMC DeploymentAgent- (Build Number)."

The location was changed to match the location that other Forefront programs that are installed on the computer use. For example, the following programs use similar locations for their installation paths:

• Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server
• Microsoft Forefront Security for SharePoint

This issue is fixed in the Hotfix Rollup 2 for Forefront Server Security Management Console. The location is changed back after the Hotfix Rollup 2 for FSSMC is installed. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
