SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • On an Exchange Single Copy Cluster (SCC) cluster, you install Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server (FSE).
  • You use the Forefront Server Security Management Console (FSSMC) to manage the FSE servers, and this management includes the Exchange SCC cluster.
  • You use FSSMC to try to collect data from the FSE on the Exchange SCC cluster.
In this scenario, data is not collected, and error events that resemble the following may be logged in the Application log:
