Windows Home Server Connector softwareUsers who have either modified or deleted the Home Server Connector Software folder in their home server’s shared Software folder may encounter problems on their home computers after an update is applied to their home server. Going forward, if the Home Server Connector Software folder has been improperly modified or accidentally deleted, future updates to the home server software will repair and replace the Microsoft-provided files in the Home Server Connector Software folder. Only those files that are shipped by Microsoft will be replaced, not those files that are shipped by a hardware manufacturer from whom a user may have purchased his or her home server. We strongly recommend that you do not alter the Home Server Connector Software folder.
