此安全性更新的已知問題

MS09-008 是取代 MS08-037 的 DNS 僅伺服器補充程式。但是，MS08-037 是由兩個更新所組成，一個用於 DNS 伺服器元件 (951746)，另一個用於 DNS 客戶端元件 (951748)。因此，受影響的 Windows Server 都需要這兩個更新。為了一致性，更新必須安裝在主控 DNS 伺服器服務的 Windows Server。

若要完全滿足需求，安裝 MS09-008 (961063) DNS 伺服器更新時，仍必須為該伺服器的 DNS 用戶端元件安裝 MS08-037 (951748) DNS 用戶端更新。


此更新會將 DNS 事件記錄檔的大小設定為預設值 512 KB

當在執行 Windows 2000 或 Windows Server 2003 的電腦上安裝 Microsoft 資訊安全佈告欄 MS09-008 中所述的 DNS 更新 (KB961063) 之後，您可能會發現 DNS 事件記錄檔大小會重設為預設值 512 KB。若要維持所需的事件記錄檔大小，您必須在安裝更新之後重設事件記錄檔大小。或者您也可以在安裝更新前先匯出登錄值，然後再於安裝更新後匯入該值。

若要設定 MaxSize 登錄項目，請依照下列步驟執行：
  1. 按一下 [開始]，按一下 [執行]，在 [開啟] 方塊中輸入 regedit，然後按一下 [確定]。
  2. 在登錄中找出下列子機碼並按一下：
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\DNS Server
  3. 用滑鼠右鍵按一下 [MaxSize]，然後按一下 [修改]。
  4. 在 [數值資料] 方塊中，輸入您要使用的值，然後按一下 [確定]。 預設值為 0x80000 (512 KB)。
  5. 結束「登錄編輯程式」。您不必重新啟動電腦，此變更即可生效。

資源耗用問題

Windows DNS 伺服器系統可能會在安裝 MS08-037 所述之安全性更新的系統上看見記憶體與檔案控制代碼資源耗用的增加。這是預期會發生的情況，因為通訊端集區隨機功能就是用來實作以處理 Windows 伺服器上的安全性弱點。實作 DNS 伺服器安全性更新會保留一組連接埠。系統會針對每個傳出的 DNS 查詢隨機選擇其中一個連接埠。此設計決策的目的是為了解決相較於 Windows 用戶端而言，處理和產生更大量查詢的 DNS 伺服器的效能問題。DNS 伺服器保留的一組保留連接埠稱為「通訊端集區」。根據預設，Windows 伺服器上的通訊端集區大小為 2,500 個通訊端。若要設定大小，請在登錄的下列子機碼中變更 SocketPoolSize 登錄項目：
