MORE INFORMATIONThis hotfix removes the requirement that maintenance plans can only be executed on servers where SQL Server 2008 Integration Services are installed. After you install this hotfix, maintenance plans can be executed even when SQL Server 2008 Integration Services are not installed on the server.
