SYMPTOMSWhen you use Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 to monitor Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) devices, monitoring of such devices may intermittently stop. This affects SNMP performance collection rules or SNMP event monitors. After you restart the Health Service on the proxy agent, monitoring of SNMP devices will continue as usual for a while. The issue may reoccur some time later. One or more of the following Operations Manager 2007 events may be logged on the proxy agent when this issue occurs: Source: Health Service Modules
