SYMPTOMSMicrosoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server may
become unresponsive, may stop scanning mail, or may not start. Also, you may not be able to open
the administrative console. If Forefront Security for Exchange Server is running in a clustered environment, you may not be able to fail over to a passive node. When any of these issues occur, a Dr. Watson error will be generated with bucket ID 668683526 that references a crash of the FSCController.exe process. CAUSEThis problem may occur because of a crash of
the FSCController.exe process. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, install Microsoft Forefront Security
for Exchange Server with Service Pack 2 (SP2).
