Known issues with this security update

In some scenarios, when you try to install this security update on a Windows Server 2008 Core-based system, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
The update does not apply to your system
To work around this problem, follow these steps:
1. Manually create a QFE folder in the Windows installation drive. For example, create a C:\QFE folder.
2. Download the appropriate update, and then copy it to the C:\QFE folder.

  Microsoft scanned this file for viruses. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help prevent any unauthorized changes to the file.
3. Use a text editor to create a command file that is named "Install.cmd". Copy the following text into the file, and then save the file to the C:\QFE folder:
```
cd\qfe
md msu_expand
md cab_expand
expand -f:* c:\qfe\Windows6.0-KB961501-x86.msu msu_expand
expand -f:* c:\qfe\msu_expand\Windows6.0-KB961501-x86.cab c:\qfe\cab_expand

```
4. Double-click the Install.cmd file to run the command file.
Under certain conditions, additional blank pages may be printed together with the intended separator page. This may occur if an @E escape code is issued together with an @F escape code if @F calls a path that is no longer valid because of this security update. For example, if you specify "@Fc:\test.txt", the file will not print because of the path restrictions that are introduced by this update. However, an additional blank page will print.
