Office Communicator 2007 causes an access violation in a Citrix environment

SYMPTOMS

Office Communicator 2007 crashes when a new USB storage device is attached in a Citrix environment. Citrix has a program in which any new device that is added locally to the computer is added to the Citrix session.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the update for Communicator 2007 that is dated March 2009. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
