Article ID: 961659 - Last Review: April 6, 2010 - Revision: 7.0 Recommended hotfixes for Microsoft Data Protection Manager 2007 systems
On This PageINTRODUCTIONThis article describes the hotfixes and the updates that we
recommend for any Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 (DPM)
installation. When you update the Microsoft DPM server, you may have to also
update any DPM Protected Servers (DPM Agents), and remote instance of SQL
Server if the DPM Server was installed by using a remote instance of SQL Server
or any remote consoles that have PowerShell installed. The updates that follow
may also help decrease the number of support issues that you
experience. Note We recommend that you evaluate these hotfixes and updates to determine whether they resolve problems in your environment. If you determine that DPM agents or DPM servers in your environment may be affected by the problems that an update or a hotfix addresses, install the hotfix or the update on each server in your environment.
