FIX: The SQL Server Writer Service is not listed in the results when you run the Volume Shadow Copy Service administrative command-line tool on a server that has SQL Server 2005 installedArticle ID: 961704 - View products that this article applies to. When you do this, the SQL Writer Service is not listed in the results. Additionally, an event that resembles the following is logged in the System log: Writer name: SqlServerWriter CAUSEThis issue occurs because an problem in the SQLWriter.exe process. Therefore, the SQLWriter.exe process becomes unstable.
