INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • In Access 2007, it takes a long time to save an object (table, query, form, report, macro, module, or database diagram) in a database that has a many objects.

Note When the database contains 5,000 or more objects and this fix has been applied, the Navigation Pane is not automatically updated. That is, you will not see new objects appear immediately after you save them. To see those new objects, you must manually update the Navigation Pane by pressing F5, or close and reopen the database. When there are less than 5,000 objects, the Navigation Pane is automatically updated.
  • You run a query in Access 2007, you move the focus to another application, and then you press Esc. After you do this, you receive the following error message:
Run-time error 3059 "operation canceled by user"
  • When you import time data without delimiters (:) from text files in Access 2007, it reports the following error for each record that is imported:
    Type Conversion Failure
  • In Access 2007, the StopAllMacros action stops only macros in the current macro stack.
