DNS 資源耗用問題 Windows DNS 伺服器系統可能會看見在安裝 MS08-037 所述安全性更新的系統上，記憶體與檔案控制代碼資源耗用的增加。這是預期會發生的情況，因為通訊端集區隨機功能就是用來實作以處理 Windows 伺服器上的安全性弱點。實作 DNS 伺服器安全性更新會保留一組連接埠。系統會針對每個傳出的 DNS 查詢隨機選擇其中一個連接埠。此設計決策的目的是為了解決相較於 Windows 用戶端而言，處理和產生更大量查詢的 DNS 伺服器的效能問題。DNS 伺服器保留的一組保留連接埠稱為「通訊端集區」。
