SYMPTOMS

When you change the status in workflow from Approved to Rejected in Microsoft Forecaster, you receive the following error message:
CDO.Message.1 error '80040220' The "SendUsing" configuration value is invalid./frxforecaster/utilities/approve.asp, Line XXX

CAUSE

The configuration of the Windows Server 2003 is incomplete.

RESOLUTION

  1. Click Start, and then click Administrative Tools.
  2. Click Configure Your Server Wizard.
  3. In Server Role select Mail Server and then click Next.
  4. Continue with the next steps until it finishes.

NoteYou are prompted for a CD during this setup.
