SYMPTOMS

"ActSys32.mdb Not Upgraded: The ActSys32.mdb file was not upgraded in the following directories: (one or more paths listed)" This error occurs while installing an FRx Service Pack.

CAUSE

The FRx32.cfg file does not contain a Directory key with the location of the SysData directory.

RESOLUTION

Locate the FRX32.CFG file (located in the same directory that contains the FRx32.exe file). Open the file in a text editor, such as Notepad. Look for a [Sysdata] header with a Directory key underneath it. If this exists, verify that the path in the Directory key is correct.
If the [Sysdata] header and Directory key do not exist, add them as follows:[SysData]Directory= Note: the path must contain a trailing backslash; for example:[SysData]Directory=\\servername\frxdirectory\sysdata\
Re-run the service pack install - it should now complete successfully.
