INTRODUCTION

This hotfix fixes the following issue that is not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

When you select some text in a PowerPoint 2007 presentation, the Font group on the Home tab incorrectly displays Japanese characters. However, the Font dialog box displays the correct font.

Also, if you change the font in the Font group, it changes the font on the slide but keeps the Japanese characters in the Font group.
