SYMPTOMS

On a system that has Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server installed, the Getenginefiles.exe process stops responding. Additionally, Forefront Security for Exchange Server generates a Dr. Watson crash that references Bucket ID 796835995. When this problem occurs, Forefront Security for Exchange Server cannot receive scan engine updates.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install Forefront Security for Exchange Server with Service Pack 2 (SP2).
